Bad Habits hitmaker Ed Sheeran has launched a new music charity, the Ed Sheeran Foundation, which works to promote music education and teach children skills that could help them enter the music industry.

The singer announced the news on Instagram, posting 'I set up @edsheeranfnd because recently there's been less and less importance being put on music education... I want kids to be able to learn instruments, production, songwriting, performing and have apprenticeship schemes to help them learn different skills to enter the industry'.
